About these terms
These terms cover use of this website. Paid work is covered by a separate proposal or contract. If the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins.
The website is published by Loomod. Contracting entities are Loomod (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka) and Loomod Ltd (London, United Kingdom).
Using this website
You may read the site and send an enquiry. You may not misuse it, attempt to break it, or copy the design and content and present it as your own.
Product descriptions and testimonials describe work and products. Ask us before you rely on a number in a decision.
Projects and proposals
An enquiry is not a contract. We start paid work when both sides have agreed a written scope, a price, and which Loomod company is contracting.
UK clients can contract with Loomod Ltd in London. Other clients may contract with Loomod (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka. The proposal names the company.
Fees
Prices are in the proposal. Unless the proposal says otherwise, invoices are due on the dates written there, and work can pause if an invoice is overdue.
A change to the scope is a change to the price and the date. We will write the change down before we build it.
Intellectual property
You keep ownership of materials you send us. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, and products, including Banksheet and Slotly Go.
Ownership of bespoke project deliverables passes as the proposal describes, usually after the related invoices are paid. Until then, we retain the rights.
Confidentiality
We treat your brief, data, and unpublished product as confidential. We expect the same for our pricing and proposals. Either side may disclose information if the law requires it.
Liability
The website is provided for general information. We do not promise that every page is complete or current.
For paid work, liability is set in the proposal. Nothing in these website terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Law
Contracts with Loomod Ltd are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless the proposal says otherwise. Contracts with Loomod (Pvt) Ltd follow the law named in that company's proposal.
These website terms are a draft. The proposal you sign is the document that binds a project.
